Yay! I finished! I was a little concerned when I was casting on the second sock on Friday, but I buckled down, and knit a whole sock in two days! My hands are a little sore, and the blister on the back of my right ring finger is a little unfortunate, but I did what had to be done! ;)

Knitting Olympics - Milo socks

Milo past heel turn

I am indeed participating in the Milo socks from Sock Innovation), but now that I've determined that what I've done so far will actually fit a human being, it's going much faster. I'm now coming up on the toe decreases of the first sock.

I really do love this pattern. It's actually a pretty easy chart (or 3), but by changing the order of the charts results in a sock that looks much more impressive than it would otherwise be.

I found my cozy on the Spins and Needles flickr site! It's pretty cute, with it's new pink addition (mine is the gargantuan white lace that's been in progress for years without any real goal. I'm just glad it's in use and no longer in my WIP basket! ;) )
